This charming historic home had an underutilized space that was in need of reorganization so that it would better serve the lifestyle of the family. The kitchen, central to this families home life, now benefits from a seamless connection to the dining room and serves as a hub for the rear entry. A mudroom, home office, and powder room have been added behind the kitchen bringing critical functionality into the home.

I was involved with the project from Schematic Design through Design Development and worked with the family to provide a multitude of design options. Many options, some adding larger additions, were considered but a more integrated solution with matching transitional woodwork became a more obvious choice for this family home.
